Kate's Coral (or Red) Jeans: Update on the Original ID

The blog, "What Kate Wore", has made a new judgement on Kate's coral, or red as they have been now deemed, jeans - which she wore a few weeks ago when she visited the GB team.

The jeans, then identified as being "J Brand" which the Duchess has worn in the past, are in fact made by "Zara".

On Kate the jeans look shorter than they do in another picture of the jeans from Zara's website, but on closer inspection it seems like Kate could have rolled them up and turned them under to achieve the shorter length

They retail for 39 pounds in GB or 79 dollars in Canada. When I called my local Zara shop to see if the jeans were in stock, I was notified that the "red" pair, they are not called coral, were coming in within the next few weeks, and only the larger stores will be carrying the line.

About a month ago when these pictures of the coloured jeans surfaced, I was looking through various clothing websites to determine where I could find a similar pair. However, at the time Zara was only carrying a yellow and a pink pair, but no red. I find this interesting.

Also, another interesting observation that I made while looking at the newly listed red version of these jeans, is that there is a small tag on the right back pocket of the red jeans, and only on the red jeans. But I never noticed this tag on the jeans Kate was wearing in the photos of her in the pants. Although, this might just be naturally hard to see because of the distance the photos were taken, and her tops were usually in the way.

So, either way, whether these jeans are in fact from Zara, or if they truly are from J Brand, once again we know that we can get something similar, if not the real thing, in order to dress like Kate.
