The Mirror Presents Kate's Fashion Formula

The Mirror reports:

"Kate Middleton looked nothing short of spectacular last night as she and Prince William hosted a charity dinner at St James’s Palace in London.
The Duchess of Cambridge pulled out another winning gown for the occasion, this time a Grecian-style by Jenny Packham complete with her favourite Jimmy Choo heels – both of which adhere to her now failsafe style rules.

With her go-to Black Tie fashion formula firmly cemented, it’s now easier than ever to dress like a Duchess.

Kate’s Fash’matics

The Gown – elegant, floor-length in silver, blush pink or dove grey and designed by Jenny Packham / Amanda Wakeley or Temperley (delete as appropriate). Get yours from Coast, Zara or Topshop Boutique.

The Heels – Jimmy Choos in gold or nude. Treat your feet to a more purse-friendly pair of Jimmy 'Dunes'.

The Clutch – discreet, block coloured and usually Anya Hindmarch.
The Jewels – silver, subtle drop earrings or an elegant understated silver bracelet try Diva at Miss Selfridge for yours.

The Hair – Glossy, with sweeping curls worn down or loosely pinned up on one side to compliment an asymmetric dress.

The Beauty – said to be “fixated on Sienna Miller’s skin” according to a source close to the royals, “Kate read in an article that Sienna uses a range of products from celebrity dermatologist Dr. David Colbert and ordered the whole range herself!”

Kate is a  fan of Bobbi Brown make up too, tending to apply it herself for big occasions (The Royal Wedding being one of many).

The Duchess is often applauded for recycling and re-recycling her wardrobe, and now she’s got a tried and tested style formula to boot, emulating the Duchess’ style has never been easier."
