I have been looking for a summer bag for a few weeks now and I've discovered a brand called Aubrey England at Town Shoes!
There are three bags that I really like that I've asked to have ordered into the store closest to me:
I really like the middle one best I think... originally I was wrestling between the first and the last bag, but the middle one might be my favourite! So much for not like white bags :) But it's not all white, and it's not white leather, I think it's canvas. Which makes a difference. I also think that the middle bag's trim colour will best match the shoes I just purchased from Nine West too. Plus, a really summery bag like the middle one will ensure that I switch back to my fall and winter bags and use them when the time comes around again!
Hopefully the bags will come in sometime next week!

A Random Video of the Duchess of Cambridge
Here is a random video that was in the related video list at the bottom of a Daily Mail article about Kate today.
Kate Visits a Children's Hospice
It's April 29th today, and it's the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge's second wedding anniversary (and my dog's third birthday believe it or not!)!
As the Daily Mail reports though, it's "business as usual" for Kate and William, as both are hard at work.
I notice that she is sticking to wearing shorter dresses lately, I wonder if it's supposed to make her look thinner, as her legs are still in quite good shape? Just a thought. I remember seeing Autumn Kelly (or Autumn Philips) wearing a short coat when she was heavily pregnant and wondering why she would do that. I suppose it also keeps a pregnant woman from looking or feeling too covered up and possibly from feeling too dowdy.
I also love how Kate seems to be doing her lately too. I suspect that she is curling her hair with a curling iron, rather than just blowing it out or using hair rollers. I like it a lot! It makes her look very youthful and the style suits her longer layers/almost one length hair style!
Here are some more pictures of Kate:

Kate looks gorgeous in her peach coloured coat and dress! I love the colours on her, it's very spring-like as well!

Prince Harry and Girlfriend Cressida "On the Rocks"?
In an article published by the Daily Mail today, they make the suggestion that Harry and Cressida, his girlfriend since last June, are "on the rocks".
Read the full article here: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2316009/Prince-Harrys-romance-Cressida-Bonas-rocks-says-shes-trophy-wife-young-marry.html
Interestingly enough (and take this with a grain of salt), the article reports that Will and Kate are not that pleased with Harry's choice of girlfriend. I have to say that I can't blame them.
First of all Cressida is quite a bit younger than Harry, by four years, meaning then that she's about seven years younger than Will and Kate. And since Harry, Will and Kate are known to be so close, the age difference between Cressida and the rest of them may change the dynamics a bit. Also, Cressida seems to be a bit more of a free spirit, and I just don't see her being cut out or fitting into royal life. What would the Queen say? Cressida could be a nice girl, but she just doesn't naturally seems like a good fit to me. I never saw Kate wearing leather shorts when she and Will were dating.
I think Harry better throw in the towel and look for someone, dare I say it, more like Kate. Someone who obviously loves Harry, but who also doesn't have so wild a streak in their personality that they can't adapt to the more conservative way of royal life.

Pippa!
Pippa is pictured attending a friend's wedding in the pictures below. I like the dress, but don't love the necklace. I'm noticing that she's really started matching her bag, hat and shoes all of a sudden! Does she suddenly have more money to do so perhaps? :)

UPDATED: Kate and Carol Shopping
This was mentioned a few days ago, but here is a picture (right) of Kate and her mother Carol Middleton shopping for the baby!
I've just added some more pictures, as they have surfaced in the Daily Mail today. I love that Carol and Kate appear to have very similar boots (I don't think that they are the same, as Carol's have little buckles and some stretchy elastin at the back).
It also seems that Carol and Kate are wearing the same pants? Both women are also dressed in navy and black. I thought that you weren't supposed to wear navy and black? Oh well, it works on them :)
I wonder if they know how similarly they are dressed, and whether or not they care? It wold be interesting to know.
Kate was carrying her bag by Tod's, I believe it's the "Lady D" bag. Here is a website that carries designer bags at a fraction of the cost, and they actually carry bags by Tod's.

Prince Philip in Toronto: Commemoration of the War of 1812
This morning Prince Philip arrived at Queen's Park in Toronto for the Trooping of the Colour. He then progressed on to Fort York for the commemorative events for the War of 1812.
My mother and I got up nice and early today and we arrived at Queen's Park around 7:45am. We had one of the best (if not the best) spots along and at the very front of the fences facing the chair that Prince Philip would later sit in.
We were able to see his vehicles as they passed (and I think I actually saw Prince Philip in the car), and we were probably 20 feet away from him at times. All in all we had an excellent view of him and it was wonderful to see him!
Here is a video still of me taken from CBC's broadcast tonight :)
And it's hard to believe that he's going to be 92! He walked without a cane and he walked quite quickly too! He wore a navy blue suit and a brimmed hat with a ribbon of burgundy and navy stripes around it.
Here are some of my pictures (some are a bit blurry, as I really zoomed in):

The Count-down is On! England 2014
A year ago tomorrow I was sitting on a plane waiting to go to London England for the first time in my life. Leading up to this date I have become increasingly nostalgic and I feel almost homesick, even though I call Toronto Canada my home.
My husband and I booked a last minute "deal" through Air Canada and we flew into London on the Saturday and arrived home the following Wednesday. It was quite a short stay but boy did we make the most of it!
We saw so much of London and took a bus tour north to Warwick Castle, back down through Stratford, the Cotswolds and Oxford and back into London! Our feet were so sore and we were dead tired at the end of each day, but we saw everything we really wanted to see and more! We had a great time!
I first had the opportunity to go to England in the summer of 2005, but because I was chasing my now husband (he's not rich or an aristocrat, so I don't think I could be called a social climber or a gold digger) :) I didn't end up going. I was 16, so maybe you can understand.
So when we got a chance to go last spring I was over the moon. And although it rained (and was quite cold) when we first arrived, it was magical to be there in April and May (I like to joke that I was there for two months, as were arrived on April 28th and left on May 2rd).
Anyways, we're planning on going back next year, but this time in June. My parents are going to Venice and then to England and we'll meet them in England on their week there!
This time I hope to go out of London, to York, Cambridge and maybe even up to Scotland for some time. I would also like to see Hampton Court Palace, and maybe some other bits of London that we didn't see last time.
I'M SO EXCITED!!!! :)
Here are just a few pictures from our trip last year:
I find it mind boggling when I see pictures of Kate walking Lupo on paths that I've also walked on! I know that might sound really insane though! :)
It's also amazing to think that we were in Westminster Abbey! It's such an old church and there is so much history there! When I see clips of the royal wedding, or the Queen's coronation, I can't believe that I've walked where they have walked!
I can't wait to go back!
